This Might Make Me An Apple Fanboy…

The iMac is great! However, it's not quite as simple as shown. This is a fair side-by-side comparison, but for both of these pictures add the following cables for a more typical setup:

--ethernet
--external hard disk
--printer
--probably ipod dock
--maybe external speakers

So the rats nest of cables is still pretty bad under the desk. There's a power cord for the printer, the router, probably a desk lamp. It's kinda ugly under there--but significantly better with the iMac.

That image displays a huge shift in the approach peripherals vs. integrated tools/devices. Is there some way to manage the cabling on the right so that it has the visual aesthetic of the left?
